Chellie Pingree leads her challenger Dean Scontras 62%-38% with 28% of all precincts reporting in. This was not the close race so many expected, though we don’t have complete totals yet. CD1 was thought to be the race that would keep us up until the wee hours, but that just doesn’t look like the case. Pingree will return to Washington DC to represent Maine’s first congressional district for a second time.
