Today, Matt Gagnon of Pine Tree Politics called in to Drive Time Bangor to talk about Ron Paul’s victory in the straw poll at the 2010 Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC). Additional discussion centered around a WGME Report on gubernatorial candidate background checks.

Every Wednesday, Matt talks to Ben and Zach about the politics of the state of Maine, and occasionally some larger, national stories.

Matthew Gagnon is the Editor in Chief of Pine Tree Politics. Matt grew up in central Maine, in the Bangor suburb of Hampden. Involved in Maine politics from a very young age, Matt studied Political Science at the University of Maine, involving himself in campus and town politics. Currently, Matt lives in Alexandria, Virginia with his wife Erin and his five year old son, Alec. He considers himself a Mainer in exile, and looks forward to the day when he is able to return home.
