Les Otten Joins In The Fun

Do you like to ski?  Do you like the Red Sox?  Well, if sharing your interests is important to you when selecting a candidate for Governor of Maine, then you may have just struck gold.

Les Otten, a Republican, today announced that he was considering throwing his hat in the ring, adding to the field already occupied by Bruce Poliquin and Matt Jacobson.  There has been some speculation that Otten will run as an Independent instead.

Otten may already be familiar to people in Maine for his time as CEO of American Skiing Company, or perhaps his part ownership of the Boston Red Sox.

Much like Matt Jacobson, Otten is a businessman with no political experience, so watching as his campaign develops will certainly be interesting.
